tip for staying hydrated

Add electrolytes!

Not only is sipping better than gulping for better absorption, but also key: making sure you have electrolytes!

The easiest way to include electrolytes? Add a pinch of sea salt/Redmond’s Real Salt to your water!

Other ideas:

*Trace mineral drops (find at a health food store)

*CT mineral drops from Cellcore (If you are a current client, I can help you order these)

*Electrolyte mix like LMNT or another that is free of artificial colors, flavors, “natural flavors”, sugar, or high fructose corn syrup.

**Most sports drinks are filled with things that are NOT supportive of health…coconut water (without the additives) is a better option if you are looking for a drink to purchase.

Curious what is in your tap water?

There are often chemicals that would not be supportive of health . . . check here for what is in your local water: https://www.ewg.org/tapwater/

Water filtration systems can get expensive, but can be incredibly helpful when dealing with chronic health issues.

One I found to be helpful that is less expensive AND filters out fluoride (really important if you have thyroid issues especially) can be found here.

At the time of writing this, they have a pop up code for 25% off your first order!

Have some fun summer adventures, staying well hydrated!
